The Farm

Cherry Basket Farm is a fully operational 100 year old farm just north of the historic village of Omena, in Leelanau County. The farm is located on Michigan Highway M-22 between Suttons Bay and Northport, approximately one half hour north of Traverse City. The farm is situated in a stand of mature hardwoods, and surrounded by cherry orchards and fields providing beautiful views. The Cherry Basket offers a rural yet sophisticated setting for weddings, private parties or corporate events of up to 300 guests. This 10 acre farm includes a restored farmhouse and gambrel roofed barn, outbuildings, gardens, and onsite parking. The farmhouse is available for day use for the host's convenience. Two grassy areas provide ample room for tents and for guests to mingle, as well as providing a variety of event set up options. The property also houses the state of the art commissary of Epicure Catering, LLC.
